Dough:
Flour 500g
2tbsp baking powder
Salt 3/4 tsp
Sugar 1-2 tsp
2tbsp oil
Mix and make a soft dough with water
Leave for 1/2 hr covered with wet cloth in a large bowl so it can expand
Filling:
2 Chicken tikka (which she bought) finely chopped
1 Finely chopped onion
1 Green pepper finely chopped (or 1/4 cup)
Crushed chillies
2-3 tbsp Tomato sauce as required (same sauce as she made for pizza)
Salt
1tsp Mixed italian herbs
Mozzarella grated.
Method:
Mix all the ingredients for the filling together. You can adjust salt and chillies to your taste.
Flatten a pera (ball of dough) slightly and put the filling on it (generous amount). Place another flattened pera on top Of it. Roll it out into a large paratha shape and place on hot tawa. When it is brown on both sides add a little oil To the tawa and fry it off. Remove and cut into 8 to serve.
